When a calendar date is changed, the activity file now records an action for the old job date as well as the new job date. This has been corrected. ---------------------------------------------------------- Version 2006.h - Released May 10, 2006 If the status of a calendar job changes from "confirmed" to any other status, Acces$ will prompt the user with a warning message to confirm the change. This feature was added to avoid accidental changes to a confirmed job! Invoice Classifications can now be stored with calendar jobs and assigned automatically to every invoice on the job. The "average number of days for 1st payment" has been added to the firm detail list. It will display next to the firm's A/R summary total. Added the ability to view archived files in a display window without retrieving the file first. This feature is very handy for the quick reference of job files. Corrected minor issue with the calendar print for jobs where there is an excessive amount of comment lines. When printing invoice detail on statements, the printer would sometimes page break without a page header. This issue has been corrected. The progress bar on reports was not recycling too fast for files over 100MB. In some instances a bad date format entered in the job diary may cause the program to display an program error message instead of user error message. This has been corrected. ---------------------------------------------------------- Version 2006.c - Released January 2, 2006 The Reliable Transcript Archive was enhanced to provide the ability to select more than one file at a time for archive. A status screen is displayed showing archive progress of all selected files. The user can cancel the archive process in between the archiving of individual files in a multi-file archive. Also, to protect the archive, executable program files are restricted from being saved if they have .exe, .zip, .bat, .cmd or .com file extensions. The firm/attorney's fax number has been added to the Reporter's Job Assignment Sheet. ---------------------------------------------------------- Version 2006.b - Released November 28, 2005 The Invoicing display utility was modified to provide the following additional functionality: 1) Ability to sort by invoice date or invoice number in either ascending or descending sequence. 2) Ability to select an attorney, firm or invoice classification prior to processing an invoice display. This added capability provides dynamic selection of invoices using additional fields. 3) When the user returns to the invoice refresh window, all previously entered selection criterion remains for modification. A "clear settings" button was added to reset the selection criterion to its base settings. The Job Assignment Sheet was modified to allow for as many as 80 characters of text on a single line in the Job Location and Directions fields. Previously, the maximum characters per line was 40. The overall size of the fields has not changed. ---------------------------------------------------------- Version 2006.a - Released November 17, 2005 All Acces$ search routines have been greatly enhanced in the following ways: 1) Search results can be loaded into the Job Diary for direct action -or- loaded into the Invoicing routine depending on whether you are searching for calendar jobs or invoices. 2) There is a new option to search text in either whole word mode or string search mode. This now gives Acces$ the most powerful search capabilities in the reporting industry. 3) The Case/Witness Search was expanded to also include (at your request) shared comments, confidential comments, job's location, directions, interpreter comments, video comments and archive comments. 4) The Invoice Text Search was expanded to also include (at your request) invoice's confidential comments, commission deduction reason and case the invoice was billed under. A quick link Invoice# field was added to the Invoice Display utility. If you want to work directly with an invoice, you no longer have to initiate the refresh window. Just enter the invoice number and press . The Invoice Display utility was enhanced to provide the added ability to omit paid invoices or classified jobs just by clicking a check boxes on the main display screen. (These functions were previously available on the invoice refresh screen and were moved to main screen to provide dynamic display capabilities. The Invoice Display refresh window now has an option to enter the number of invoices you want returned when selecting invoices by date, number, client or classification. The default is 20 and the max records returned for a single display is now 5,000. A new Pay$ icon was added to the Invoice Display utility so you can have a direct link to post adjustments to a highlighted invoices. A Collect icon was also added for a direct link to collections efforts for a highlighted invoice. Options were added to the calendar print to exclude Reporter Exceptions and/or daily comments. Minor modifications were made to enhance Acces$ window linkage so a problem does not result from a window being closed by the user before a process is finished. For example, if you were billing a calendar job and decide to close the calendar window prior to the completion of the invoice, Acces$ would end with a window linkage error. This has been rectified in all Acces$ windows.
