All calendar jobs can now be summarized by case name not just "ongoing cases". This enhancement replaces the "ongoing case" paradigm. When adding a new calendar job, you can easily select from any caption already on file. This new feature is a preparation step towards our new Internet Repository which will list a client's jobs by case name so they can easily retrieve their transcript files via a standard Web Browser! The Job Diary window was greatly enhanced to make it more intuitive to work with jobs by Reporter, Client, Date Range or Case. In addition, a Date-Picker drop-down was added to the display date field so you can see dates in the context of weeks, months and years! Added new feature that will automatically hide firms and attorneys that have not used your agency for a user-defined number of years. All Client, Third Party and Reporter reports were enhanced to provide the added ability to select records and/or Case Records prior to selecting the screen or printer output options. In addition, the report will not exit when complete allowing the opportunity to narrow your selection criterion for additional runs. The Preferred Reporter field was added to the Calendar's Quick View window. Changed the Client Notified check-box on the job detail window to a "Notice Received" check-box. The option to export comments for a firm and/or attorney was added to the Client Export Utility. Minor Enhancement: The job's Duration Field was added to the Print Calendar routine. Minor Correction: The estimated pages for a job was not printing properly for some jobs on the reporter's Incomplete Job Listing. This has been corrected. If the job status field was not blank, the status field was not being automatically set to "C" for confirmed. This issue was only present in the last few versions and did not cause any problems. Label print parameters for the Seiko Transcript Label printer were enhanced to accommodate additional printer models. Some Activity Transaction records were not storing the data file's main file key. This was a minor issue that has been corrected. ---------------------------------------------------------- Version 2005.n - Released August 9, 2005 The Calendar Print routine now includes the Job Location as part of the output. Label print parameters for the Seiko Transcript Label Printer can now be stored by Computer or User. AM/PM field for calendar jobs now only accepts an upper case A or P so jobs sorts are not affected by lower case entries. Minor adjustment to the data file restore routine provides the ability to display comments from the backup zip file. System wide adjustment to the activity tracking module. Activities are only recorded if an actual change is made to data. Entering, then saving without making a change will not use system resources. Minor adjustment to the Job Assignment Sheet now provides added space for a long set of directions. ---------------------------------------------------------- Version 2005.m - Released July 25, 2005 Estimated pages have been added to the Incomplete Job Listing providing the ability to determine the amount of effort remaining along with the number of incomplete jobs. (Version# 2005.l was not used) ---------------------------------------------------------- Version 2005.k - Released June 29, 2005 A Reporter's Key can now be changed! Added a major utility to enable the change of a reporter's key by processing thru all Acces$ activity for the reporter and applying the requested change. This utility will help agencies reuse old reporter keys and will keep reporter keys consistent with name changes, etc. When Job Assignment Sheets are run, they update the check-box on the calendar job. Minor adjustments to the at the top of the Main Menu, Invoicing Menu and Calendar Menus. When the mouse pointer hovers over the new icon, Acces$ will display a quick-view pop-up window detailing most of the information on the job. (when the mouse pointer is moved off of the new icon, the quick-view window will disappear. > When the Confirm Job action is selected, Acces$ will automatically place the cursor in the reporter field for easy keying of the assigned reporter's key. Acces$ can now store preferred reporters for a firm and/or attorney. You can store more than one preferred reporter. This new field can be viewed during on the calendar's job detail screen. ---------------------------------------------------------- Version 2005.i - Released June 8, 2005 Calendar Enhancements: > A TimeStamp field has been added to the cancel job screen and the reschedule job screen. When a job is canceled or rescheduled, Acces$ will store the date and time or action along with your notes on who called (per). > The confirm job screen has been removed. When the confirm job action is selected, Acces$ will use the primary job information screen and will automatically place a "C" in the job status to save keystrokes. This will provide the full use of the primary job screen and all of its information fields. Due Date Report: A check box was added to allow the user to only include "confirmed/open" jobs in the report. Job's Invoices: Information fields were added to the job to total the number of invocies on the job, amount billed, commissions paid, referrals paid and net profit. ---------------------------------------------------------- Version 2005.h - Released May 26, 2005 Minor enhancement to the calendar logic when assigning job locations. Added button to set location to the Scheduling Firm. This replaces the logic to automatically default the job location to the scheduling firm. This provides greater flexibility in using the job location and direction fields as needed. The Case Search and Ongoing Case routines have been enhanced to accomodate all changes made in the 2005.g version. Added easy access to reporter file when setting referral reporters on the job information screen, firm detail screen and the attorney detail screen. Changed the Firm Policies for Early Pay Discount and Print Invoice Detail to act opposite of the policies set by your agency. Acces$ for Reporters is an extension to Acces$ so your reporters can work with their jobs and collaborate with your agency via this flexible, fully functional, fully integrated module. Please contact us for more information. This release of Acces$ includes two major enhancements as follows: 1) Integration into the new Acces$ for Reporters module. Job messages, billing sheets, job tracking, Job Assignments and the Incomplete Job Listing are interfaced between reporters and the main Acces$ program. 2) Directions were added to Firm and Third Party records. In addition, a misc. job location file was added. Locations with directions can now be assigned directly to an Acces$ calendar job. Location and directions for the job are included in the Job Assignment Sheet, Job eMail and the Calendar Print. A correction was added to the multiple invoice collection screen. When an invoice in the unpaid invoice list box was not selected, it was possible to post a transaction to a blank invoice number under certain contitions. This has been corrected. A correction was added to the Commission by Payments Received report. When multiple payments are posted to a single invoice and one of the payments is set to bypass commissions, the report was not printing the invoice header for the other payments. This has been corrected. ---------------------------------------------------------- Version 2005.f - Released April 14, 2005 The optional integrated Transcript Archiving feature has been greatly enhanced to provide easier, more user friendly operation attaching files to an Acces$ calendar job. Multiple files can be added or removed from a job. In addition, the compressed archived file can be opened using Windows Explorer -or- files can be extracted to a user specified location. ---------------------------------------------------------- Version 2005.e - Released April 5, 2005 For new invoice numbers, added capability to auto increment the last invoice number added for each Windows User-ID of a computer. This new capability provides the flexibility to have different invoice number sequences for each user of Acces$. ---------------------------------------------------------- Version 2005.d - Released April 1, 2005 There were two major enhancements to Acces$ in this version as follows: 1) Dynamic, world-class security has been added to Acces$ providing the ability to create groups of users with each group having different levels of clearance for functions. For example: a Restricted User group can be denied access to such functions as Remote Job, Delete Invoice, etc. Access to reports and utilities are also controlled by the new "Group Permissions". Note: If your agency does not want this level of security, the old three-password method can still be used. 2) "Favorites" has been added to the Main Menu of Acces$. When Acces$ is started, it takes the UserID during signon and creates a unique "Favorites" list where users can specify programs they access on a regular basis. If the classic three-password method is used to signon, Acces$ will use the Windows UserID for the computer in use. Other modifications include: > Comprehensive logic was added to Acces$ to provide total interoperability with ReporterSolution's new Remote Acces$ offering. A User licensed as a remote user has perpetual support and updates and automatic nightly data backup capabilities. Cash Receipts Report, Invoicing Activity, Profitability Report, Firm Reports and Third-Party Reports have all been enhanced. > Firm Statements were printing past the end of a page and onto a new page with a page-break only when invoice line charges were selected for print on the Statements. This has been corrected. > Users can now specify the size of the margin (up to 9 lines) they want to use for Firm Statements. > When payments are applied to Acces$ the user has the option to bypass commissions for reporters paid when payments are received. If an applied payment is bypassed, the bypass will be indicated on the reporter's commission report to avoid accidental omissions. ---------------------------------------------------------- Version 2005.c2 - Released February 9, 2005 Added Transaction Report. File transaction detail can now be printed in report format. UserID, computer, date, time, file, file operation and record changes can be sorted in various ways and printed. Statements were adjusted in a minor way. After the first page of a multi-page statement printed, subsequent pages were truncating the header line at 83 characters instead of printing the entire line. This has been adjusted. Automatic Uplift feature was adjusted again to add the ability to recalcuate the uplift if the user zeroes out the uplift on an invoice change. ---------------------------------------------------------- Version 2005.c - Released February 4, 2005 Added a pop-up check in the Acces$ job diary if entering jobs with dates older than the current date. Added a pop-up verification when posting a check to multiple invoices. The pop-up will display the number of invoices being posted and the total post amount. User will be able to cancel or continue the post from the pop-up. Added a pop-up verification when posting a payments or credits to a single invoice. The pop-up will eliminate accidental postings. Added ability to post credits to multiple invoices at the same time when working with a firm's unpaid invoices. Added logic to automatically setup credit transaction in the collections module when an invoice's balance is equal to unpaid interest or early pay discount amount. This will save keystrokes and time when finalizing these invoices. All commission reports will surpress the reporter's phone number and social security number unless requested. This enhancements was made to comply with user requests to guard personal information on printed reports. Added invoice's classification description (if used) to Collections screen. This is useful when payments are applied to invoices that have been classified with a collections agency. Acces$ had the ability to auto uplift an invoice if using a discount % if paid within x number of days. This version will only uplift on a new invoice, not while changing an invoice. Fixed automatic invoice number increment when using a network workstation computer and the computer name is less than 8 characters. ---------------------------------------------------------- Version 2005.b2 - Released December 15, 2004 Customer Enhancement Request: Ability to include invoice line text on Statements. When producing statements, the option exists to include Invoice Line text on statement with the added ability to select which lines to include. ---------------------------------------------------------- Version 2005.b - Released December 9, 2004 In some instances, the function on the Calendar archive file would report PKZip was not installed. This issue, which was corrected with this version, never affected the function. ---------------------------------------------------------- Version 2005.a - Released November 29, 2004 Added capability to record all Acces$ file activity for audit-trail purposes. Add, update and delete activities on all data files are recorded for future reference. Added activity display utility under the Tools menu-bar to display all activity by record key. Summarized activity can be displayed in more detail.
